Robbery (Mugging) – 13 Division

A 32 year old male reports that on October 7, 2010 at approximately 1750 hours, he was in the area of Glengrove Avenue and Glen Park Avenue when he was approached from behind by two male suspects. One suspect produced a handgun while the other suspect made a demand for property. The suspects searched the victim and removed a cellular telephone and a MP3 player from his possession. The suspects pushed the victim up against a fence, and then fled the scene southbound towards Glen Park Avenue. No injuries were sustained by the victim. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence. Description of Suspect #1: Male, 17 to 21 years, 5’8” to 5’9”, thin build, black hair. Suspect #2: Male, 17 to 21 years, 5’8” to 5’9”, thin build.

Robbery (Mugging) – 22 Division

A 14 year old male reports that on October 7, 2010 at approximately 1445 hours, he was in the area of Eringate Drive and Renforth Avenue when he was approached by a male suspect. A conversation ensued, and the suspect produced a handgun and made a demand for property. The victim complied and the suspect removed a cellular telephone and a baseball hat from the victim’s possession. The suspect then fled the scene northwest from Eringate Park. Robbery (Vehicle Jacking) – 41 Division

Two 20 year old males report that on October 7, 2010 at approximately 0228 hours, they parked their vehicle in the area of Budea Crescent and Mayflower Avenue when they were approached by two male suspects. The suspects, armed with a handgun, made a demand for property. The victims complied and the suspects removed a quantity of cash, identification and a gold chain from the one of the victims. The suspects then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle southbound on Budea Crescent. No injuries were sustained by the victims. Robbery (Home Invasion) – 43 Division

A 76 year old male and a 64 year old female report that on October 9, 2010 at approximately 1145 hours, they were in their dwelling located in the No. 43 Division area and responded to a knock at the door. The victim opened the door and was confronted by three male suspects wearing disguises who forced their way inside. Once inside, one of the suspects produced a handgun while the other suspects duct taped both victims’ hands and eyes. The suspects then ransacked the dwelling and removed a quantity of cash and jewellery. The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victims sustained minor injuries and will seek their own medical attention. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence. Description of Suspect #1: Male, 50-55 years. A 45 year old female owner of Li-Yang Jewellery, 8 Westmore Drive, reports that on October 9, 2010 at approximately 1645 hours, three male suspects entered the premises and approached the counter. Two suspects produced handguns and demanded the victim get down on the ground, while the third suspect used a hammer to smash a display cabinet. A quantity of jewellery was removed and the suspects fled the scene to a tan coloured vehicle and left in an unknown direction. No injuries were sustained by the victim. Robbery (Business) – 23 Division

A 54 year old male employee and a 24 year old female customer of Mac’s Milk, 140 LaRose Avenue, report that on October 12, 2010 at approximately 2137 hours three male suspects, one armed with a shotgun, two armed with handguns and all wearing disguises entered the premises. One of the suspects stood at the door as lookout. Another suspect pointed a shotgun at the victims and made a demand for cash. The victims complied. At that time the employee was then pushed away by the second suspect. This same suspect then grabbed the cash and the coin tray while putting the handgun to the employee’s head. The suspect with the shotgun removed a quantity of cash from the customer and forced her to the floor. Both suspects removed the trays of lottery tickets. The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction. No injuries were sustained by the victims. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence. Description of Suspects #1- #3: Males, black, 18-23 years, 5’10” to 6’, 141 lbs to 169 lbs, thin build, brown eyes.

Robbery (Home Invasion) – 13 Division

Six males, ages 57 years, 26 years, two 19 years and two 20 years old report that on October 13, 2010 at approximately 2300 hours, they were in a dwelling on Robina Avenue, when five male suspects, wearing disguises, forced their way in. Once inside, one suspect produced a handgun and ordered the victims to the floor. The suspects forced the victims to the basement area. Once there some of the suspects threatened, punched, kicked, pistol whipped and made a demand for the victim’s personal belongings while the remaining suspects ransacked the premises. The suspects removed two cellular phones and a quantity of cash from the victims. The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victims sustained minor injuries and will seek their own medical attention. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence. Description of Suspect #1: Male, black, 19-21 years, 6’. A 45 year old male employee of Mac’s Convenience Store, 1021 Markham Road East, reports that on October 14, 2010 at approximately 0340 hours, two male suspects wearing disguises entered the premises and approached the counter. One of the suspects armed with a handgun jumped over the counter, struck the victim with the handgun about the head and ordered him to open the cash register. The victim complied and the suspects removed a quantity of cash from the till and cigarettes from the counter. The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victim sustained minor injuries but did not require medical attention.
