Robbery (Mugging) – 33 Division

A 21 year old male reports that on September 30, 2010 at approximately 2025 hours, he was in the area of Finch Avenue East and Cherokee Boulevard when he was approached by a male suspect armed with a handgun. The suspect grabbed the victim and made a demand for his laptop. The victim did not comply and was able to make good his escape. No injuries were sustained by the victim. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described person in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect: Male, black, 20 to 22 years, 6’0”, medium build.

Robbery (Financial Institution) – 12 Division

A 26 year old female employee of Royal Bank of Canada, 901 Jane Street, reports that on October 1, 2010 at approximately 1215 hours, three male suspects wearing balaclavas entered the premises.  Two suspects approached the counter, while another suspect stood watch at the door.  One of the suspects discharged his handgun at a monitor that struck the victim about the face, then demanded money.  The victim complied and all the suspects then fled the scene in an awaiting vehicle driven by another suspect, eastbound on Dalrymple Drive.  The victim sustained minor injuries and will seek her own medical attention.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect #1:  Male, black, 6’0” to 6’2”.  Suspect #2:  Male, 6’0” to 6’4”.   Suspect #3:  Male, 6’0” to 6’4”.  Suspect #4:  5’9” to 6’0”.  NO FURTHER DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECTS AVAILABLE.

Robbery (Mugging) – 31 Division

A 16 year old male, reports that on October 2, 2010 at approximately 0003 hours, he was in the area of Topcliff Avenue and Yellowstone Street when two male suspects approached him.  One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victim’s head and demanded his wallet and watch.  The victim complied and the suspects then fled the scene towards Finch Avenue West.  No injuries were sustained by the victim.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspects #1 & #2:  Male, black, 6’0”, medium build.

Robbery (Mugging) – 23 Division

A 56 year old male reports that on October 2, 2010 at approximately 1825 hours, he was in the area of Martin Grove Road and Steeles Avenue West when he was approached by a male suspect. The suspect produced a handgun, pointed it at the victim and made a demand for cash. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene southbound on Martin Grove Road. No injuries were sustained by the victim. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described person in connection with this offence. Description of Suspect: Male, 35 years, 5’10” to 6’0”, 174 lbs, muscular build.

Attempt Murder – 14 Division

A 23 year old male reports that on October 3, 2010 at approximately 2155 hours, he was in the area of Bathurst Street and Dundas Street West when a male suspect fired several gunshots, striking the victim about the body, and then fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victim was transported to hospital where he was treated and admitted. The victim’s condition is unknown at this time. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described person in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect: Male, black. Robbery (Home Invasion) – 32 Division

Two 21 year old and two 22 year old males report that on October 3, 2010 at approximately 0330 hours, they were in an apartment in the area of Northtown Way and Yonge Street when they answered a knock at the door. Three male suspects, one armed with a handgun, forced their way into the premises. The suspects then bound and gagged the victims and searched the apartment. The suspects then removed cell phones, laptops and a watch and fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victims sustained minor injuries but will seek their own medical attention. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect #1: Male, black, 24 to 30 years, 6’2” to 6’4”, heavy build. Suspect #2: Male, 24 to 30 years, medium build. Suspect #3: Male, black, 24 to 30 years.

Robbery (Swarming) – 42 Division

A 31 year old male reports that on October 3, 2010 at approximately 2335 hours, he was in the area of Murrison Boulevard and Sheppard Avenue East when he was approached by four male suspects, three of which were wearing disguises.  One suspect produced a handgun and made a demand for property.  The suspects removed a cellular telephone and a metropass from the victim and fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victim did not sustain any injuries. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect #1: Male, black, 18 to 20 years, 5’5” to 5’7”, 141 to 150 pounds, thin build, brown eyes. Suspect #2 to #4: Male, black, 18 to 20 years, 5’5” to 5’7”, 141 to 150 pounds, thin build.

A 27 year old female and 24 year old male reports that on October 4, 2010 at approximately 0030 hours, they were in the area of Leslie Street and Sheppard Avenue East when they were approached by two male suspects. The suspects removed a set of keys, laptop, two cell phones and a quantity of cash and identification and fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victims did not sustain any injuries. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect #1: Male, black, 25 to 28 years, 6’0” to 6’1”, 174 pounds, medium build. Robbery (Purse Snatch) – 13 Division

A 45 year old female reports that on October 5, 2010 at approximately 0800 hours, she was walking in the area of Dell Park Avenue and Fairholme Avenue, when a male suspect armed with a handgun approached from behind.   The suspect grabbed the victim’s purse and a struggle ensued.  The suspect pointed the weapon towards the victim and again made a demand for her purse.  The suspect then fled the scene with the purse in a northerly direction on a pathway towards Lawrence Avenue West.  No injuries were sustained by the victim.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described person in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect: Male, black, 22-28 years, 6’0”-6’2”, 140-160 pounds, thin build.

Robbery (Mugging) – 31 Division

Two males, ages 15 and 16 years, report that on October 5, 2010 at approximately 17:30 hours they were in the area of Finch Avenue West and Islington Avenue, when they were approached by a male suspect.  The suspect produced a handgun and made a demand for cash and jewellery.  A passerby interrupted the robbery and the suspect fled the scene empty handed in an unknown direction.  The victims did not sustain any injuries.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described person in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect: Male, black, 16 to 18 years, 5’7” to 5’8”, 161 to 180 pounds, chubby build, brown eyes.
